From DWDD AFP Civil Relations Service Radio Website (Nov 29): NEUTRALIZED // Notorious Abu Sayyaf Member nabbed in Hospital
MANILA (DWDD) – An Abu Sayyaf member also positively identified in kidnap-for-ransom activities was apprehended by elements from the Joint Intelligence Task Unit of the Joint Task Group Sulu and by police operatives led by Jolo Chief of Police Superintendent Junpikar Sitin during intelligence operations conducted on Saturday, November 28.
Kadaffy Kamsa was recuperating at the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) Hospital in Asturias Street, Jolo, Sulu after a head-on collision with another motor vehicle on Friday when apprehended. His companions Badong Kamsa and Nixon Manda, however, were able to escape when they noticed the presence of law enforcers.
Kamsa is a notorious member of the ASG who is also taking orders from ASG sub-leaders Alhabsy Misaya and Angah Adji for several kidnapping activities in Tawitawi and in Sabah, Malaysia. He also has an outstanding warrant of arrest for illegal possession of firearms and reckless imprudence resulting in serious physical injury. Josephine Jaron Codilla / MCAG
