ZAMBOANGA CITY – Government authorities in this city arrested Friday a member of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) who is facing six counts of criminal cases ranging from kidnapping to serious illegal detention with ransom.
Police Regional Office for Zamboanga Peninsula spokesman Inspector Dahlan T. Samuddin identified the apprehended ASG member as Raji.
Raji was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of kidnapping and serious illegal detention with ransom at about 10 a.m. last Wednesday at on RT Lim Boulevard in the village of San Jose, this city.
The warrant for his arrest was issued by Judge Toribio E. Ilao, Jr. of Regional Trial Court Branch 266 in Pasig City.
