CAMP EVANGELISTA, Cagayan De Oro City – The Philippine Army here would start recruiting 200 candidate soldiers to become regular soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the military announced Thursday.

Capt. Patrick Martinez, spokesperson of the army’s 4th Infantry Division here, said that the recruitment would start Friday until the 200 quota required by the division is meet.

He said that all able-bodied applicants 18 to 23 years old are qualified to take the Armed Forces of the Philippines Service Aptitude Test (AFPSAT) as one of the requirements of the application.

Martinez said that the applicant should present Transcript of Record (Original and Photocopy), 2 pieces ID pictures with white background.

He said that the applicant should also present the original and photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate, original and photocopy of the Diploma, and any valid identification card.

The applicants should submit all the requirements to the Philippine Army Headquarters at the 4ID here in Patag, Cagayan De Oro City.

Martinez said that all qualified applicants would take oath as the next Candidate Soldiers Course (CSC) on June 1, 2016 to provide the applicants enough time to prepare them emotionally and physically from a civilian to a soldier.
