From the Philippine News Agency (Oct 14): 4th ID opens door for Candidate Soldier's Course

The 4th Infantry Division announced that individuals, aged to 18 to 26-years-old, are welcome to apply for the Candidate Soldier's Course (CSC) which will start Oct. 16.

Capt. Joe Patrick Martinez, 4th Infantry Division public affairs office chief, said interested persons can proceed and apply to their headquarters in Camp Evangelista, Patag town, Cagayan De Oro.

Applicants must bring the following: transcript of record (original & photocopy), at least two 2x2 ID picture with white background, NSO birth certificate (original and photocopy) and any valid ID, and diploma.

Applicants are also advised to take the Armed Forces of the Philippines Service Aptitude Test as one of the requirements for application.

Around 200 Candidate Soldiers are allocated to the 4th Infantry Division.

The tentative date of oath taking for the next CSC will be on June 1, 2016.

This will give the applicants ample time to prepare themselves physically and emotionally as this will be their transition from civilian to soldier.
