PAF in the market for C-130 engine assembly

From the Philippine News Agency (Aug 31): PAF in the market for C-130 engine assembly

In line with its efforts to ensure that all aircraft in its inventory are flyable and mission-worthy at all times, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) announced that it is acquiring an engine assembly for one of its three Lockheed C-130 "Hercule" cargo aircraft.

The latter part is for PAF C-130 with tail number 3633.

Major Gen. Isagani Silva, PAF bidding awards committee chair, said the project has a budget of Php36,379,200.

Pre-bid conference is on Sept. 3,at 9 a.m., PAF Procurement Center Conference Room, Villamor Air Base, Pasay City, while submission/opening of bids is on Sept. 17, also at the same time and venue as the pre-bid conference.

C-130s are the PAF's primary aircraft for disaster relief and troop and cargo missions.
