PCG helicopter up for emergency repairs

From the Philippine News Agency (Jul 7): PCG helicopter up for emergency repairs

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has allocated the sum of PhP7.45 million for the emergency repair of its PCG Helo 1636.

The PCG said the money is intended for the repair of "engine number one turbine assembly" of the aircraft.

Winning bidders are required to deliver the items within 30 calendar days.

The PCG is known to operate three helicopter units for its maritime patrols and search-and-rescue missions.

Bid opening is scheduled for July 14 at 9 a.m. at the PCG Conference Room, 2nd Admin Building, Port Area, Manila.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who will opt to attend. Late bids shall not be accepted.
