Department of Justice (DOJ) Undersecretary Jose Justiniano confirmed on Friday that three to four United States servicemen, who are comrades of US Marines Lance Cpl. Joseph Scott Pemberton, are now at the DOJ premises.

Pemberton is facing murder charges before the Olongapo City Regional Trial Court (RTC) for the alleged killing of Filipino transgender Jeffery “Jennifer” Laude in Olongapo City on Oct. 11, 2014.

”The US servicemen are listed as our witnesses (on Laude murder vs. Pemberton),” Justiniano said. He declined to release their names.
