From Tempo (Mar 14): Kidnapped teacher freed
The Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) released a government teacher after holding her for nine hours in the forested area of Indanan town in Sulu.
The provincial police office in Sulu reported that the ASG freed Allyn Muksan Abdurajak, 44, of the Jolo School of Fisheries, at about 3:30 a.m. last Wednesday.
Abdurajak was abducted by two ASG gunmen operating in Barangay Kajatian, Indanan, at around 6:10 p.m.,Tuesday. Police said Abdurajak was released after negotiations by her relatives with the kidnappers. The ASG used a tricycle as their getaway vehicle and fled towards Buansa area in Indanan town.
