This was confirmed by Brig. Gen. Carlito Galvez,
Coordinating Committee on the Cessation of Hostilities (CCCH) head, during the
sidelights of the Philippine Military Academy homecoming activities Saturday.
Casualties at the MILF side is now placed at 10 while BIFF
losses are place at 20.
The CCCH chief said that the figures include both dead and
wounded.
Galvez said that they are still to get the exact figures of
the MILF and BIFF dead in the encounters, which sources attributed to clan wars
or "rido," which started early this week.
Earlier, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)
chief-of-staff Gen. Gregorio Pio Catapang said the military was looking at the
possibility of entering into the conflict affected areas in order to deescalate
the volatile situation.
He also said that the military will also try to determine
the exact cause of the conflict while they are in the area and try to act as
referees.
Catapang said all military movement will be done in
coordination with the MILF.
