Seven New People's Army members fatally shot a suspected
thief some 20 meters from his residence in Barangay Tagbon, Milagros, Masbate , Saturday morning.
A police report identified the victim as Ronnel Ogaya, 23,
single and farmer.
The report said Ogaya was sleeping at about 5 a.m. Saturday
when the NPA rebels arrived, barged into his house, tied him and brought him
outside to about 20-meter distance from his residence.
The rebels immediately shot the victim on his head and body
as his co-villagers watched.
After Ogaya's execution, the dissidents casually walked from
the crime scene.
