Combined police and military operatives arrested on Sunday an amazon of the New People’s Army (NPA) charged with rebellion in the nearby town of
Provincial police director Senior Supt. Sofronio Ecaldre identified the arrested NPA amazon as Mari Muñoz, a finance staff of the NPA’s Western Mindanao Revolutionary People's Command.
He said Muñoz is facing rebellion charges before a Court in this city and has a standing warrant of arrest without recommended bail.
He said Muñoz is temporarily detained at the Aurora Police Station.
