The Philippine Air Force (PAF) has announced that it is nowaccepting recruits to fill in vacancies, but first, they must hurdle the entrance examinations.
Air Woman First Class Jennifer Talamor said those interested to take the PAF battery of written tests set on April 4-5, 2014 can secure entry forms either fromthe ROTC office of the West Visayas State University (WVSU) in Lapaz district this city, or at the Technical Operations Group VI of the 2nd Air Division of the Philippine Air Force at Camp Hernandez, Dingle, Iloilo. Talamor enumerated the qualifications needed to be admitted to the pre-qualifying examinations which are the following: For Candidate Soldiers, they should be naturalborn Filipinos, 18-23 years of age, single (having no illegitimate child), finishers of 72 units in college, standing not below 5 feet tall, well-reported in the community, and physically and mentally fit to stand military training.
For officer candidates, a 4-year course is required, and ages between 20-24 years old. Further requirements are authenticated NSO birth certificates, transcript of records, or a certificate attesting to units earned in college, or certificate of candidacy for graduation, and two copies of 2x2 ID pictures with white backdrop.
