To foil another possible New People's Army (NPA) infiltration attempts in Davao del Sur, the Eastern Mindanao Command has intensified its security operations in the boundaries of the province.
This was revealed Tuesday by Lt. Gen. Ricardo Rainier Cruz III, head of the military unit.
"We will intensify our operations in the boundaries of (Davao del Sur) in order to prevent the NPAs from infiltrating again," he said.
This is in wake of the series of rebel attacks which killed soldiers, three police officers and wounded nine troopers and policemen Monday in Matanao town
Cruz also said that criminal charges against these NPA rebels are now being readied.
