From the Philippine News Agency (Mar 25): DND to acquire 46 metric tons of propellant powder

The Department of National Defense (DND), through its bidding and awards committee, announced that it is acquiring 46 metric tons of propellant powder for the government arsenal in Limay, Bataan.

Propellants fill the interior of an ammunition cartridge or the chamber of a gun or cannon, leading to the expulsion of a bullet or shell.

The project has a budget of P46 million.

It will be sourced through the General Appropriation Trust Funds.

Interested bidders must have completed a similar project within the last five years and capable of supplying the materials within 180 calendar days upon opening of the letter of credit.

Bid opening is on April 3 at the DND bidding and awards committee conference room in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
