More than 400 senior citizens of two villages in Pikit, North Cotabato have benefited from the latest medical and dental outreach program conducted by the North Cotabato Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) in partnership with the 7th Field Artillery Battalion of the Philippine Army.

The senior citizens were from the villages of Buayan and Poblacion of Mlang and Pikit, both in North Cotabato, respectively.

The outreach program has provided free consultation to 275 elderly and 19 free dental services in Barangay Buayan while there were 109 who availed of free consultation and five availed dental services in Pikit’s Poblacion.

All these were part of the extensive implementation of health programs of the “Serbisyong Totoo” advocacy of North Cotabato Governor Emmylou Mendoza.

Mendoza said the outreach program beneficiaries were also provided with free medicine.

The IPHO doctors also performed free circumcision while the military conducted free hair cut.
