Former members of the Cordillera People's Liberation Army (CPLA) officially took their oath as candidate soldiers of the Philippine Army. Alongside the opening of the Candidate Soldier Course at the 5th ID headquarters in Camp Melchor dela Cruz in Upi, Gamu, Isabela is the presentation of the CPLA's surrendered firearms to the government.
