The Political Affairs Bureau and the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF) of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) with approval from the MILF Central Committee, held another successful assembly at the Sulu State College Gymnasium in Jolo on Nov. 8, 2012. Despite the absence of an activity permit from the Municipal Government of Jolo which refused to issue such a permit, the MILF forces marched to the town with placards while thousands of Bangsamoro trooped to the venue to hear messages from the six-man delegation of MILF Central Committee members who explained and clarified about the Framework Agreement for the Bangsamoro signed between the Government of the Philippines (GPH) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) last October 15, 2012 at Manila. About a hundred Marine and Philippine Army soldiers secured the area in the entire duration of the assembly which ended in success.
