No threat from MNLF, says AFP chief

Armed Forces Chief of Staff Gen. Jessie Dellosa said there has been no threat from the mainstream Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) despite of the recent ranting of its founding chairman Nur Misuari on the signing of the framework agreement. Dellosa said there has been no monitored movement from the MNLF groups indicating plans of hostile action against the government, who forged with the breakaway faction of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) the framework agreement that will set the Bangsamoro new political entity.... “Actually, wala naman silang ginagawa (movement),” Dellosa said when asked if the MNLF posed a threat to the security. Dellosa also dismissed possibility that those MNLF who have been integrated into the AFP and PNP might be swayed by calls of Misuari to defect and go against the government. “Yong mga integrees sa AFP sa nakikita ko wala na kaming problema. Kasi okay naman ang kanilang mga performance, okay naman yong kanilang mga ginagawa, wala naman silang ginagawang masama. And I am confident na yong mga na integrate sa AFP they will do their job properly,” Dellosa said....
