Posted to the Leyte-Samar Daily Express (Sep 30): Military supports gov't peace, dev't initiatives

The Philippine Army based in Eastern Visayas said it will support all peace and development initiatives of the government and other cause-oriented groups as part of the AFP’s Internal Peace and Security Plan “Bayanihan.” ,Maj. Gen. Gerardo Layug, commanding general of the 8th Infantry Division, said the Army is supporting the Payapa sa Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) Road Project from Mondragon to Silvino Lubos, Northern Samar.
