A remnant of the dismantled Northern Negros Front (NNF) of the New People\s Army (NPA) was arrested on Monday (March 18) in a joint police and military operation in Barangay Bato, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, a report of the Police Regional Office-Western Visayas said.
The suspect identified only as alias “Dose” has an arrest warrant for the crime of robbery with violence.
The 41-year-old rebel was a vice squad leader of the dismantled NNF Sentro de Grabidad Platoon, the report added.
San Carlos City Regional Trial Court Judge Arville Guyod Delgado has recommended a bail of P100,000 for his provisional liberty.
He is now under the custody of the Sagay City Police Station. | GB
