Ex-CTG member arrested for robbery

BACOLOD City – A suspected active member of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) wanted for the crime of robbery with violence against or intimidation of persons was apprehended in Sagay City, Negros Occidental.

The suspect, alias “Dose,” 41, was served on Monday morning, March 18, with his arrest warrant issued by Hon. Arville Guyod Delgado, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court 6, Branch 57 in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental dated February 20, 2023.

Bail was set at P100,000.

“Dose” is reportedly designated as the intel and vice squad leader of the Sentro de Grabedad (SDG) Platoon of the New People’s Army.

The arrested individual was placed under the custody of the Sagay City police for proper disposition.
