DAVAO CITY — The 1003rd Infantry Brigade of the 10th Infantry Division successfully seized three high-powered firearms and assorted war materiel from the New People’s Army during an armed encounter at Sitio Mahayahay, Barangay Cawayan, Quezon, Bukidnon last Friday.10ID spokesperson Maj. Mark Anthony Tito disclosed on Monday that three M16 rifles, two magazines with ammunition, eight backpacks, medical paraphernalia, food supplies, clothing, assorted war materiel and subversive documents were recovered by the soldiers after executing a focused military operation.
