JUST IN: Operating troops of 53rd Infantry Battalion clashed with NPA rebels under the Western Mindanao Regional Party Committee (WMRPC) in Brgy. Nazareth, Sergio Osmena Sr., Zamboanga del Norte on July 2. Recovered in clash site were subversive documents, a cellular phone, medical equipment and personal belongings of the fleeing rebels. Hot pursuit operations are ongoing.
