CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao del Norte – Major General Alex Rillera, Commander of the 6th Infantry (Kampilan) Division and Joint Task Force Central will present the returning Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) member to Sarangani Province Governor Rogelio Pacquiao on February 8, 2023.
alias Jurib from General Santos City decided to surrender carrying a Cal. 30 Sniper Rifle with 10 bullets. He is a former Vice Commanding Officer (VCO) of Platoon 2 of GF 75, FSMR. It surrendered to Purok Bayan, Barangay Maribulan, Alabel, Sarangani Province.
The former CTG member from the Provincial Government of Sarangani was given initial financial assistance as an aid for the provision of livelihood.
Maj. Gen. Rillera praised TF Gensan for their efforts in the peaceful surrender of the former CTG member.
Same goes to Sarangani provincial government for welcoming alias Jurib and making it live normally in society.
“We also do not ignore the big role played by local government units to straighten the path of these victims of the deception and wrong ideology of CTG”, statement of Maj. Gen. Rillera.
Also with TF Gensan Commander Col. Galileo Goyena and 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade Commander Brig. Gen. Pedro Balisi Jr in the presentation he made.
