57IB neutralizes CNT in Sultan Kudarat
Operating troops of the 57th Infantry “Masikap” Battalion neutralized a CPP-NPA Terrorist (CNT) in an encounter with military troops on July 10, 2022 at Brgy. Tibuhol, Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat.
57IB troops clashed with more or less five CNTs and able to recover the cadaver at the encounter site after the enemies escaped into different directions. Operating troops captured war materiel including a cal.30 M1 Garand rifle and ammunitions.
The Army leadership lauded the 57IB on their relentless combat operations that led to the neutralization of a CNT which contributes to the peace and development in Sultan Kudarat.
