USS Tulsa (LCS 16), recently in port in Manila, brought some of the U.S. Navy sailors on board much closer to home. Filipino-American sailors currently serving aboard USS Tulsa include FC1 Mark JC Bellaflor, from Cavite City, AE3 Dianarah Conzon, born in Tagapul-an, Samar, and MNC James Brierly, from Olongapo City.

These sailors are proud to contribute to the defense of both the U.S. and the Philippines and protect freedom of navigation in a #FreeAndOpenIndoPacific.

USS TULSA, part of Commander Destroyer Squadron SEVEN, is on a rotational deployment, operating in the Indo-Pacific to enhance interoperability with partner navies like the Philippines.
