FORT MAGSAYSAY, Nueva Ecija — The troops of the 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion, Philippine Army joined the Duterte’s Legacy Barangayanihan Caravan held at A.V Mijares Elementary School, Barangay Buhangin, Baler, Aurora on October 26, 2021.

Dubbed as “Barangayanihan Caravan Towards National Recovery”, Lieutenant Colonel Reandrew P. Rubio, Commanding Officer of 91IB said that his unit joined the activity by providing free haircut, free BP check-up, and distribution of Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) leaflets and Army recruitment.

“I am calling for unity and an end to violence and the need for cooperation of everyone in this time of the pandemic, let us support the various programs of our government,” Lt. Col. Rubio said.

Likewise, 1st Lieutenant Candidato Paduman, Civil-Military Operations (CMO) Officer also conducted lectures on Youth Infiltration; facilitated a film showing about the E-CLIP process; Campus Infiltration; and Deception of the Communist Terrorist Groups.

Meanwhile, the Acting Commander of the 7th Infantry (KAUGNAY) Division, Philippine Army Brigadier General Luis Rex D. Bergante PA, it is an honor to be part of this activity showcasing the legacy of the present administration especially that one of the legacies of President Duterte is ending the local communist armed conflict — in which the Army is one of those who are in the frontline in implementing the E.O 70.

“All of our efforts are vital in the process of ending the local insurgency kaya naman we are glad to be part of this activity. This a whole-of-nation approach — kasama ang lahat sa lahat ng accomplishments ng present administration especially sa pagtataguyod ng peace and development sa mga conflict-affected Barangays,” said BGen Bergante.
