ZAMBOANGA. The Army's 1st Infantry Division (ID) installs Lieutenant Colonel Nolasco Coderos Jr., the former Executive Officer of the 102nd Infantry Brigade (left), as the new commander of the 97th Infantry Battalion (IB), replacing Lieutenant Colonel Manaros Boransing II (right), who will be designated as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations of the 1ID. Major General Generoso Ponio, 1ID commander (center), led the turnover of command ceremony Monday, October 25. (SunStar Zamboanga)
THE Army's 1st Infantry Division (ID) has installed the former executive officer of the 102nd Infantry Brigade as the new commander of the 97th Infantry Battalion (IB) based in Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte.
