MAGPET, COTABATO – Through its relentless efforts and strong established information network, the Community Support Program Team (CSPT), 72nd Infantry “Gabay” Battalion, under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Jose C Regonay Jr., discovered several Improvised Explosive Device (IED) paraphernalia on April 13, 2021 at Sitio Mintubukan, Brgy Miaray, Dangcagan, Bukidnon.

Two residents of Sitio Taguntong, Miaray, Dangcagan, Bukidnon provided reliable information on a cached Improvised Explosive Device (IED) paraphernalia at Sitio Mintubukan, Brgy Miaray, Dangcagan, Bukidnon particularly on an agricultural land parcel belonging to certain Rudy Jimenez, a Barangay Kagawad and a target personality. After validating the said information, several Improvised Explosive Device (IED) paraphernalia were discovered: Two big containers of IED shrapnels (round bar cuttings), Four gallons of IED shrapnels (round bar cuttings), One sack of assorted PBC Frames, and One container of Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil (ANFO).

Lieutenant Colonel Jose C Regonay Jr., Commanding Officer 72IB is still calling on other members, supporters and symphatizers of the Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs) to go back to the folds of the real government and embrace the programs offered to them. He emphasized that now is the time to go down the mountainsides and live peacefully with their families and loved ones.
