Kalinaw News: JTFC awards medals to seven wounded soldiers

Posted to the Kalinaw News (Oct 19, 2020): JTFC awards medals to seven wounded soldiers (By 6th Infantry Division)



CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao – Major General Juvymax R. Uy, Commander of Joint Task Force Central and 6th Infantry (KAMPILAN) Division on Friday (October 16, 2020) awarded wounded personnel medals (WPMs) to injured infantrymen in Camp Siongco Station Hospital at the 6th Infantry Division Headquarters, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

The Commander of JTF Central was assisted by the Chief of Staff Col. Michael A Santos in a fitting recognition for the bravery and heroic acts of the Kampilan troopers resulting to them being wounded in action while performing duties against the enemy of the state.

The personnel who were awarded are currently admitted and recuperating from bullet wounds in the said hospital.

The following personnel are the awardees of WPMs: Cpl Rey Condino, Cpl Ebrahim Kudtig, PFC Domenic Agustin and PFC Rey Arnoco all members of 57th Infantry (Masikap) Battalion, Sgt Anthony Erasmo, Sgt Aldren Ahmad and Pvt Johneal Julianes all members of Marine Battalion Landing Team 5, Philippine Navy.(Marines)

“The officers, men and women of the 6ID appreciate your sacrifices for the sake of our people. The JTFC will forever be grateful for your selfless service and your acts of bravery is one thing that I, as your Commander, will always be proud of.” Maj. Gen. Uy said.
