Kalinaw News: PRLEC Monitoring and Evaluation team celebrated One year anniversary in SurSur- Army

Madrid, Surigao del Sur, July 17 – The army’s 36th Infantry (Valor) Battalion together with the members of the Poverty Reduction, Livelihood and Employment Cluster (PRLEC) Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, this province convened yesterday July 16, 2020, held at Sitio Ibuan, Brgy Mampi, Lanuza at around 9 o’clock in the morning.

The Monitoring and Evaluation Committee of the PRLEC SDS celebrated its one year anniversary to follow up and monitor the ongoing peace and development efforts of the cluster at Sitio Ibuan. The said activity was put into action to address and monitor the progress and status of Sitio Ibuan Enterprise Village and other livelihood and intervention package to the community.

The activity personally attended by Engr. Charlyn Binghoy, Provincial Officer of NCIP Agsur together with Lt Col Xerxes A Trinidad, Asst. Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operation 4th Infantry Division Phil. Army, Lt Col Jezreel Diagmel, Commanding Officer 36IB, Atty. Andrie Andresa, Rep PGO Surigao del Sur, Dir. Rey M Cueva, Provincial Director TESDA Agnor, Dir. Julius Sol O. Jamero, Provincial Director TESDA SurSur, Miss Maryvil C. Chan, Provincial Tourism Office with the representative of other government agencies came from DOLE, DSWD, BFAR and the participation of barangay officials headed by Hon Danilo Duazo, Brgy Chairman and tribal leaders of Sitio Ibuan.

LTC Jezreel Diagmel, Commanding Officer on his statement “I am indeed grateful for the positive response of the PRLEC members who provided livelihood Assistance and training to the community in Sitio Ibuan. This convergence effort is a sincere gesture that the government is responding to the call of the community. The government will be able to sustain the gains of peace and development and ensure that the basic services and social development packages are delivered and implemented to the community. He also added, “We, your army will continuously extend efforts in partnership with other stakeholders in giving basic services and sustained peace and order in our area of operation especially here in Sitio Ibuan.
