Cotabato City Mayor Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi has assuaged concern of the residents regarding the reported presence of ISIS in nearby area.
“Wala po tayong dapat na ikabahala sa kabila ng mga report na ating naririnig hinggil sa presensya ng ISIS sa ating karatig bayan,” the local chief executive said.
She said the city government, in partnership with the law enforcement agencies, is ready to defend the city from the terrorists.
Instead of fear, Guiani-Sayadi urged the public to be more vigilant and ensure that no terrorists could enter the city.
