Exhausted in evading the continuous military operation, Alias Alex, 32, married, a team leader of Squad Uno, SRC2, North Central Mindanao Regional Command (NCMRC) voluntarily surrendered to the Army's 8th Infantry Battalion Headquarters and announced his intention to surrender. He was welcomed by the unit including former rebels who yielded ahead of him. Alex said he decided to yield because he wants to be with his family.
