A Dawlah Islamiyah/Maute Group member and supporter yielded to 103rd Brigade Commander, Colonel Romeo S. Brawner at 3pm yesterday, May 8.
Hilal Pamaloy Biston a.k.a Pakistan, a resident of LDSPPO compound, Barangay Langcap, Marawi City, submitted himself to Colonel Brawner at the Headquarters of the 103rd Brigade in Kampo Ranao, same city.
Biston also turned over his M16A1 rifle and one short aluminum magazine.
Said personality is currently undergoing custodial debriefing.
“We encourage the remaining DI/MG members, who are still in doubt, now is the time for you to return to the mainstream of society,” said Lieutenant General Arnel B. Dela Vega, commander of the Western Mindanao Command.
“Task Force Balik Loob has prepared reintegration packages for all surrenderors, to provide them and their families with social equity and a chance to be productive members of the society,” LtGen Dela Vega added.
