LOOK: One unidentified member of CPP-NPA Terrorists (CNT) was killed in an encounter transpired at the vicinity of Purok 1, Barangay Tuaca, Basud, Cam...arines Norte, Sunday morning, March 3.
Based from the report, operating troops of 1st Cam. Norte Provincial Mobile Forces Company were conducting security operation in the said area when they encountered 15 armed CNTs believed to be members of KSPN 1, Larangan 2, Komiteng Probinsya 1 of Bicol Regional Party Committee.
The said firefight lasted for almost five minutes and the terrorists immediately fled towards different directions living their dead comrade behind. Recovered from the encounter site are the following: one cal. 45 pistol, one cal .30 carbine, and one hand grenade in the encounter site.
There was no reported casualty on the government side while follow up operation was immediate conducted.
