LABUAN, Zamboanga City (DWDD) – LTC Rolando P Gomez, Commanding Officer, 1Lt Nilbert N Dagpin, Civil Military Operations Officer and 1Lt Jerome M Mandocdoc, Bravo Company Commander of 11th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army together the Philippine National Police headed by Police Superintendent Fictal J Majuddin, Deputy Regional Police Community Relation Division R5 and the Youth Leaders of Zamboanga and Peace Connect Youth Core Groups joined the 4th Open House Solidarity Visit in Markadz Salaf Assalam Al-Islamie Mosque and Madrasa on June 17, 2018 at Purok 2, Barangay Labuan, Zamboanga City.
The objectives of the activity was to promote the spirit of camaraderie and trust among various faith communities and to help non-Muslims gain more knowledge about Islam by highlighting Islam as a religion of tolerance and moderation, to strengthen mutual harmonious and respectful relationship with other faith groups.
