The American agents will help identify the cadavers of foreign fighters who joined the local terrorists in Marawi City



The Philippine National Police (PNP) conducts an autopsy on the bodies recovered from the battle area in Marawi City.

The results could confirm if leaders of the Maute Group were among those killed in earlier firefights with the military.

United States agents are also in Iligan City, supposedly to help identify the cadavers of foreign fighters who joined the local terrorists.
