BAYWALK HOTEL, Mati City, Davao Oriental (DWDD) – Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao conducted its Fifth Maritime Inter-Agency Safety and Security Forum at Baywalk Hotel, Mati City, Davao Oriental participated by the different local maritime stakeholders, chief executives and law enforcers last August 31, 2017.

NFEM also led in the briefing presentation concerning maritime awareness followed by an open-forum. The forum ended with the signing of written commitment among participants declaring their cooperation in maritime safety and security.

The said inter-agency forum will continue its conduct knowing the vital role it has played among aforementioned actors in addressing issues and concerns, conduct reviews on maritime laws and operations and develop a more responsive collaboration scheme towards national development. NFEM / MCAG
