Marines killed by NPA terrorists given honors

From Update Philippines (Jul 21): Marines killed by NPA terrorists given honors

Two members of the 12th Marine Battalion Landing Team (MBLT-12) killed by NPA members, tagged by the military as terrorists, were given honors at Naval Station Apolinario Jalandoon in Puerto Princesa City, Palawa today.

The two Marines, Private First Class Joene Galiste and Private James Melchor Porol were killed by armed communists under Bienvenido Vallber Command on NPA in Roxas, Palawan. Galiste and Porol, unarmed, were reportedly going to a local market to buy provisions for food.
