CAPAS, Tarlac (DWDD) – The Philippine Army shooting team bagged 23 gold, 14 silver and 26 bronze as per medal counts after the 10-day ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) 2016 held at Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac from November 28 to December 7, 2016.

Task Force AARM Commander Brig. Gen. Herminigildo Francisco C. Aquino said that the achievement of the Philippine Army shooting contingent is a quantum leap against the ASEAN heavyweights.

“We bagged more gold than expected, always at the top three competing for the top spot. Always slugging it out with ASEAN’s heavyweights, Indonesia and Thailand. All contenders having a good time competing nonetheless, with mutual respect and friendship”. BGen. Aquino said. PIO TRADOC / MCAG
