President Rodrigo R. Duterte vowed on Monday to go tit for tat with terrorists as he assured that he would never allow the Philippines to be destroyed by terrorism.

“Terrorists, like ISIS, have no political ideology, no concept at all. You maim people, you kill them, women who refuse to have sex with them, they simply burn them. We have seen a barbaric practice and even cutting throats of people in front of the world,” he said.

“Hindi ko malaman how to meet this kind, but if you do that, you bring out the worst in me. Bale tabla tayo diyan. If you can do it, I can do it ten times better than you,” the President said.

“I am not insinuating things. I am just warning you, huwag ninyong sobrahan, because I would never never allow my country to be destroyed by terrorism ... and ng droga. Di talaga ako papayag. As I said, I have put at stake my honor, my life and the presidency itself,” he added.

The President made the warning in an unscheduled speech during the oath-taking ceremony for 42 new government appointees held at Malacañang.
