The Philippine Navy (PN) plans to acquire 180 units of
high-explosive rockets for its two attack helicopters.
The Navy is allocating the sum of PHP25.2 million for the
acquisition of 180 rounds of 2.75-inch rockets (MOD 2) with high-explosive
warheads.
The munition is intended for the Navy's two attack AW-109
AgustaWestland "Power" helicopters. The 2.75 inch-rockets are
primarily used for ground attack missions.
Winning bidders are required to deliver the items within 240
calendar days. Pre-bid conference is scheduled on Aug. 15, 1 p.m. at the Navy's
Bids and Awards Committee in Fort Bonifacio , Taguig
City .
