PAF acquiring PHP16.8-M worth of S-76 helicopter parts

From the Philippine News Agency (May 18): PAF acquiring PHP16.8-M worth of S-76 helicopter parts

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) is looking for bidders capable of supplying spare parts needed for the repair and maintenance of one of its Sikorsky S-76 medium utility helicopters.

Budget for this project is placed at PHP16,879,059.80. Pre-bid conference is on Friday, 9:00 a.m. at the PAF Procurement Center Conference Room, Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.

Opening of bids is on June 2, 9:00 a.m. at the same venue.

The S-76 features twin turbo-shaft engines, four-bladed main and tail rotors and retractable landing gear.

The PAF is known to operate between three to six S-76 in its inventory.
