From the Philippine News Agency (Nov 2): One of PAF's C-130s up for 6th year structural maintenance program

One of the Philippine Air Force (PAF)'s three Lockheed C-130 "Hercules" cargo planes will be undergoing a 6th Year Structural Maintenance Program (SMP) this year.

The cargo plane is C-130H with tail number 4726. Budget for the SMP is placed at Php118,338,583.67.

The money will be sourced from Department of National Defense/Armed Forces of the Philippine Aircraft Maintenance Fund Calendar Year 2015.

Delivery of the goods and services is required within a period of 90 calendar days upon ferry-out of the aircraft.

Bidders should have completed, within the last five years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the project.

The DND Bidding and Awards Committee will hold a pre-bid conference on Nov. 9, 10 a.m. at the DND BAC Conference Room, Right Wing Basement, DND Building, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

Bid opening is on Nov. 24, 10 a.m. at the same venue.
