PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur – The authorities have
arrested a suspected member of the New People’s Army (NPA) in the nearby town
of Mahayag
Senior Supt. Sofronio Ecaldre, provincial police director,
identified the arrested NPA suspect as Roger Najini, a member of the NPA’s
Western Mindanao Regional Party Committee.
Ecaldre said Najini was arrested Wednesday at Purok 1,
Barangay Pugwan in the nearby Mahayag municipality.
He said Najini has standing warrant of arrest for murder
with no recommended bail issued by a court of Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.
