A grenade blast rocked a police station at the town of
SPO1 Arlan
Ramales sustained a knee injury after an unidentified suspect hurled a grenade
at the Esperanza Police Station at around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday.
The suspect
managed to escape after boarding a motorcycle driven by another person.
Two cars and a
police patrol car parked inside the station's compound were damaged due to the
explosion.
Police believe
that the grenade lobbing was a case of harassment.
Security has been
tightened around the police station and an operation hs been launched to
capture the perpetrators.
