Troopers from the 93rd Division Reconnaissance Company have
discovered an abandoned New People's Army (NPA) training camp at Sitio Busdak
Diotay, Barangay Danao, San Jacinto town, Masbate
Friday morning.
This took place 9:30 a.m., 9th Infantry Division spokesperson
Capt. Mardjorie Paimela Panesa said.
She added that the camp, also features a cave, which can
hold around 30 NPA fighters.
Recovered were a motorcycle, one printer and a cassette
radio.
Military informants said the camp was abandoned five months ago
due to pressure exerted by the military.
The recovered items are now at the custody of the San
Jacinto Municipal Police Station.
