The dead man in a photograph that has been circulating on social media is not Malaysian terrorist Zulkifli Bin Hir, alias Marwan, a commander of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front said.
In a report on "24 Oras", an unidentified MILF commander said the man in the photograph is a certain "Ustadz Or" of the MILF's 105th Base Command.

"Hindi siya. Taga kuwan ito, kasamahan ng 105th. Element ito ng 105th... Ang pangalan niyan, si Ustadz Or. Hindi ako magkakamali," the source, who claims to have seen both Marwan and Abu Sayyaf member Basit Usman, said.
He said, however, that Marwan died after a Philippine National Police Special Action Force operation to arrest him and Usman over the weekend.
He said Marwan had managed to get away because he was protected by at least 15 heavily-armed men, but that the Malaysian bombmaker died soon after.
"Ang sabi, doon siya nilibing sa may Barangay Libutan, sa tabi ng mosque... Nakalibot ang mga ano, doon. Mga armado," he said.
The Philippine government, which also says Marwan has been killed, has sent DNA samples from his supposed body to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation for testing.

The MILF commander admitted he was involved in the clash on Sunday where 44 SAF troopers were killed, but said the heaviest fighting was with members of the breakway Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters and private armed groups hiding in Mamasapano town in Maguindanao.
The president, in his eulogy at the necrological service for the fallen police officers on Friday, promised Usman will also be captured.
