From InterAksyon (May 24): 4 IEDs found in North Cotabato

Residents of a village in Makilala town, North Cotabato discovered Friday four improvised explosive devices believed planted by communist rebels.
The explosives, found around 6 a.m. Friday in Barangay Luna Sur, were immediately reported to the troops of the 39th and 57th Infantry Battalions, 57th IB commander Nilo Vinluan said.
The discovery came two days after two IEDs, also believed planted by the New People’s Army, were found in Barangay Greenhills, President Roxas town.
Authorities in the province have remained on high alert following the botched NPA raid on the President Roxas police station recently.
