The Department of National Defense (DND) said it has allocated P67.6 million for the acquisition of 13 million pieces of 5.56mm M855 bullets.
The bullet is used by various models of the M-16 automatic rifles currently in service with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
The fund for the bidding will be sourced from the General Appropriations Act (GAA) of 2014.
Interested bidders must have completed a similar supply project within the last five years.
The winning bidder must also be capable of delivering the items within 180 calendar days of the opening of the letter of credit.
The pre-bid conference will be held on March 27, to be followed by the bid opening on April 15, both at the DND Bid and Awards Committee Conference Room,
